Chora

A foundry for synthetic professionals — small, exact AI kernels that answer deterministically, in milliseconds, over unlimited context, and never bluff.

What Chora is

A general chatbot is a fluent guesser. It will hand you a confident answer to a question it can't check — in the same voice it uses for the truth. For real work, that's the whole problem.

Chora coins synthetic professionals: small AI kernels defined in plain language by the inputs they take and the outputs they owe. Each one answers deterministically — in milliseconds, over effectively unlimited context — and on anything it's built to be exact about, it does not hallucinate. It answers, or it says I don't know. Never a bluff dressed as a fact.

This isn't a probability machine talked into behaving. A kernel doesn't sample plausible continuations; it resolves against the worldview, assumptions, and context it was given. Hallucination isn't rare here — it isn't a move the architecture admits.

Wrong is zero. What can't be verified is held, not asserted.

Underneath is a substrate written in Rust: a model proposes, a witness disposes, and nothing is treated as true until something outside the generation — a test, a source, a return from the world — closes it. It fixes the reliability failures that keep LLMs out of serious workflows: hallucination, nondeterminism, context limits. It deliberately leaves creative fluency and broad world knowledge to the frontier models underneath — where, for these jobs, they're a liability anyway.

Why we're building it

We learned this the hard way. Our first product, Sana, was a chatbot that told you the truth instead of flattering you. People already have a general assistant; a second one is cold to start and hard to justify. The lesson wasn't that the discipline was wrong — it was that the discipline belongs underneath other systems, as infrastructure, not as one more chat window.

Chora is that discipline, made reusable.

Processors

Chora sits on top of frontier models and holds them to account: the model proposes, Chora disposes. Claude is the primary processor today — it's where the coupling is strongest — with OpenRouter available as a gateway to others. The coupling is the product; the model underneath is swappable.

Access & pricing

Chora is in active development and open by invitation while we harden it. When access opens more widely, you choose how to pay at checkout — two ways, both plain:

Prepaid credits. Buy a balance, spend it only as you use the Service, top it up whenever. Nothing recurring, nothing to remember to cancel.

Or a subscription. A recurring plan with an included usage allowance, for steadier workloads. Cancel any time — it runs to the end of the period you've paid for, then stops.

Every account starts with a small credit — enough to find out whether it's for you. Billing is handled by Stripe; the details are in our refund policy and terms.

Company

Chora is built by Sarsa Formation OÜ, an Estonian private limited company. It's the entity holding this work today, ahead of a fuller incorporation.
